in Asia today, attracting more than 25,000 participants from across the nation and even countries like Australia, Thailand, Nepal, Sri Lanka, etc. Techfest has also been granted patronage from UNESCO in its endeavor for providing a platform to students to showcase their talents in science and technology. This invitation marks the launch of our mainstream competitions for this edition of Techfest. “Robotron” which envelopes four competitions Indian Open No Man’s Land, Cricbot, Magneto and Wall-E forms the robotics segment. The three flagship competitions of Techfest fall under the “Xtreme Machines” namely Robowars: Deathmatch , Freighter-15 and Full Throttle: Nitrox. “Dimensions” is more of a miscellaneous genre containing competitions involving mechanical, basic robotics and pop-sicle structure making namely Canyon Cross, Hydranoid, Potentia and DevilDozer. For the coders we have “Code Magnate” which overlooks three competitions namely Code’em Poker, Hello World and Appsurd. Besides these, we have ArchiTech for the students interested in architectural designing and Social Buzz which gives you the power to create an impact in the society using social media.
