For 1M ,1000ml Tris 121.14 gm is needed;
Therefore, for 0.7M ,1000ml, xgm is needed;
Therefore x= 0.7*121.14=84.728 gm;
Now for 0.7M ,70 ml, Tris needed is x gm
X =70*84.728/1000=5.93 gm
Therefore 5.93 gm of Tris is required to make 0.7 M ,70 ml stock
2) 0.5M, 20ml EDTA:

Therefore 186.12 of EDTA in 1000ml=0.5M
X gm in 20ml =0.5 M
Therefore x =186.1*0.5/1000 =3.7224gm
3) NaOH:
40GM NaOH in 1000 ml = in
X gm of NaOH in 50 ml=1N; =40*50/1000=2gm
4) 5M, 5O ML OF SODIUM ACETATE:
83.03gm in 1000ml =1 M
415.15gm in 1000 ml=5M
X gm in 50 ml=5M therefore x= 50*415.5/1000 =20.75 gm
5) AMPICILLIN:
For solid media 100µg/ml
For liquid media 50µg /ml
6) SDS (1%,100ml):
1% means 1gm SDS in 100ml distilled water.
7) TBE BUFFER:
In 1000 ml, Tris base is 54gm , boric acid is 27.5gm, 0.5 EDTA is 20 ml, For 100 ml
Tris base =54*100/1000=5.4gm
Boric acid=27.5*100/1000=2.75gm
EDTA =20*100/1000=2mL
8) ETHANOL:
absolute ethanol = 100ml
70% ethanol = 100ml
