Job Description:
As Case Intake Member:
...
1. Responsible for Case intake, duplicate check , and registration
2. Maintain log of source documents, and other communications
As Case Processor:
1. Responsible for Data entry of single cases into Safety Database Application.
2. Review and evaluate AE case information to determine required action based on and following internal policies and procedures
3. Process all incoming cases in order to meet timelines
4. Full Data entry including Medical coding and Safety Narrative
As Narrative writer:
Responsible for writing medically relevant Safety narrative of cases and checking the completeness and accuracy of the medical data entered in the various fields.
Other responsibilities:
1. Following up with sites regarding outstanding queries
2. Follow-up on reconciliation of discrepancies
3. Follow departmental AE workflow procedures
4. Closure and deletion of Cases
5. Perform any other drug safety related activities as assigned
6. Perform Literature Review activities when trained and assigned
